What a night! 💙⭐️

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 5th Annual Bag’s Buddies Gala! From our incredible supporters to past and present scholarship recipients, it was a night filled with the people who make this mission so special.

Seeing our scholarship recipients together is a powerful reminder of what this night is really all about! We are honoring John’s legacy by investing in young people, creating opportunities, and making a difference in our community.✨

We’re so grateful to everyone who continues to show up, give back, and be part of this team.

This is why we do what we do. 💙

A Summer in the Game☀️🏄

This summer, Bag’s Buddies helped children from Seatack catch their first waves at surf camp, take the field for lacrosse, and hit the basketball court. Every program was completely free for families.

Our gala may be sold out, but the work continues. Your generosity makes these opportunities possible all year long!💙💛

This is what team looks like. 💚

Showing up for each other. Cheering each other on. And making sure more Virginia Beach children get the chance to play.

We felt it at Shamrock, and we feel it all year long! This community is something special!

On October 9, we’ll all come together again for the 5th Annual Bag’s Big Bash! Let’s help more VB children get in the game!

We’d love to have you there. 💚

At Bag’s Buddies, we believe every child deserves the chance to play, learn, grow, and feel like part of the team. ❤️

Through our partnership with Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation, we’re helping remove financial barriers to youth sports for families in underserved Virginia Beach communities by providing recreation memberships, equipment, transportation support, and free sports camp opportunities throughout the year.

This spring, that includes basketball, soccer, swimming, pickleball, and lacrosse camps for kids in the Seatack community. 🏀⚽🏊🥍🏓

After an incredible response from families, we’re excited to share that Bag’s Buddies is doubling our partnership with the City of Virginia Beach, expanding from $5,000 to $10,000 to reach even more kids this year!
