He lives in Virden and attends the NMHS. His project was to install a flag pole at the local NMUSA fields. I am a Boy Scout with Troop 74 from Morrisonville, Illinois, but I do reside and attend school in the North Mac School district. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout Project. I am currently a Life Scout and both the Order of Arrow Unit Representative and an Assistant Patrol Leader within
my troop. I have been in scouting since First Grade crossing over from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts in the Fifth Grade. I have also completed my Brotherhood for the Order of the Arrow. I have also worked for the first time at our local council’s Scouts BSA summer camp this summer teaching a couple of merit badges and sharing the scouting adventures with other scouts. I am entering my junior year at the North Mac High School this fall as well as playing on our high school’s boys soccer team for my 3rd year. For my project, I am installing a flagpole at the local North Mac United Soccer Association fields located at the south end of Virden near route 104. The soccer association has been around for several years providing local youths with the skills and enjoyment of playing the game of soccer. My siblings and myself have been part of the soccer association from the moment that we could start playing and up through our 8th grade, so giving something back to the association and completing this project means a great deal to me.
