Katie B's Eagle Scout Project page This page was created to update the public on Kathryn's Eagle Scout Project. For those who don't know, Kathryn is a new Eagle Scout w/ Troop 747.

She lives in Virden & attends NMHS. Her project was to build 2 benches for our public library. I am a Scout with Troop 747 out of the Raymond/ Morrisonville, Illinois, but I do reside and attend school in the North Mac School district. I am currently a Life Scout and both the Senior Patrol Leader and the Order of Arrow Unit Representative within my troop. I have been in the BSA scouting since 2018

were I joined the Cub Scouts as a Webelos. In 2019, I crossed over from the Cub Scout program to Scouts BSA program in the Fifth Grade. Since joining the Scouts BSA program, I have completed all of the rank requirements needed to advance to where I am today as a Life Scout and have currently earned 40 merit badges. I have earned the National Outdoor Achievement Award for Camping and working on the Conservation award currently. I have earned the Outdoor Ethics Award. I have also joined the Brotherhood for the Order of the Arrow. I have also worked for the first time at our local council’s Scouts BSA summer camp this summer as a Counselor in Training, but also ended up teaching the Indian Lore merit badge as well as sharing the scouting adventures with other scouts. I am entering my sophomore year at the North Mac High School and this spring will be playing on our high school’s girls soccer team for my 2nd year. I also participate on the North Mac Scholiastic team and have been part of the North Mac Drama Club production in both middle and high school.

Due to some technical issues yesterday, the court of honor itself was not able to be lived streamed. We did end up videotaping it (to the best of our ability). There are a few glitches in the video, but overall it got most of the ceremony.
