New for spring races, large timing clock so racers and parents can see your finishing time! 💪🏼

The Healthy Kids Running Series Spring 2026 - Virginia Beach, VA is on Sunday April 26, 2026 to Sunday May 24, 2026. It includes the following events: PreK 2/3 Yr Old - 50 Yard Dash, PreK 4/5 Yr Old - 75 Yard Dash, Kindergarten & 1st Grade - 1/4 Mile, 2nd & 3rd Grade - 1/2 Mile, 4th & 5th Grade - 1....

What a great season we had! We all learned together and had a fun time. That you all for bringing your kids out for these races. I can’t wait to see all the kids when we do it again in the spring! Also, will the parents improve their mile time in the spring? 🤔 😄

This Sunday 11/2 is the Last Race!

Thank you all for a great season, one more to go! Let's all wear our HKRS shirts for the last one and get a picture!

The top finisher from each race distance and gender will receive a trophy! Trophy presentation will take place after the parent's mile while final scores are entered.

We had 66 runners take part in the races this year. If we get over 100 next time, the top 3 runners will get trophies. So, tell your friends! Spring 2026!

While we tally up the final results, the parents will run a 1-mile race!

Not required, no awards, lots of fun! Lead by example and show your kids you can do it too!

Lots of PR’s (personal records) last weekend for most of the kids! Getting faster and smarter on the longer distances, pacing themselves 💪🏼
This Sunday, 10/26 will be a Superhero theme! Also parents, you may want to start prepping for the 1 mile parent run on our last day, 11/2! 🏃‍♀️ 🏃🏻‍♂️
