The Help Save The Next Girl Club is hosting on Tuesday, April 28th!

We invite our students, staff, and community to join us in raising awareness, supporting survivors, and standing against sexual violence!

🟠 We are collecting items for The Lampstand Foundation! The Lampstand is a local non-profit that supports women and families affected by domestic violence.

•Gift Cards: Walmart, Kroger, Amazon, or Target

📣💜 Help Save the Next Girl Club Meeting 💜📣

Join us on Tuesday, February 17th for our next club meeting in Room 232 from 3:30–4:30 PM!

We’ll be discussing our upcoming supply drive for The Lampstand, other exciting activities planned for later this year, and getting hands-on by wrapping donation boxes and creating posters to help spread the word.

All are welcome — come learn, help, and make a difference! 💪✨

💪 A.V.O.I.D. Personal Self-Defense Class + Community Giving Opportunity 💪

William Byrd High School & Middle School girls and female staff are invited to join us for an A.V.O.I.D. Personal Self-Defense Class — focused on confidence, awareness, and practical self-protection skills in a positive, supportive environment!

📍 WBHS Multi-Purpose Room (Wrestling Room)

As part of this event, we are also asking each high school participant (student or staff) to bring one (1) Laundry item to donate.

Examples include:
• Tide Free & Clear Pods
• All Free Clear Pods
• Unscented Dryer Sheets
*Items must be unscented and pods only**

About the Lampstand Foundation:
Lampstand Foundation is a local nonprofit that supports women and families affected by domestic and sexual violence. They provide safe housing, advocacy, resources, and support to help survivors rebuild their lives with dignity, safety, and hope.
This is a simple way for our students to learn that being strong also means helping others.

👉 On Thursday, October 23rd, we’re asking EVERYONE to wear PURPLE for Purple Power Day!

Stand with us to support our mission to unite in purpose and promote healthy relationships as we create a more safe, strong, and more supportive community!
