🏃‍♂️🚒 THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING 5K! 🚒🏃‍♀️

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported our 5K today! We truly can’t thank this community enough for the continued support you show the Vinton Volunteer Fire Department.

We had a great turnout with 47 participants, and it was awesome to see everyone come together for such a great event. 🏅 We also awarded medals to our top 3 male and female finishers—congratulations to all of you!

Events like this wouldn’t be possible without our community, volunteers, and supporters. We appreciate each and every one of you!

Thank you again, and we hope to see you at the next one! 💪🚒

🚨 Department Announcement 🚨

We have a couple updates for our community:

• Our fire siren is now back up and fully operational. At this time, it will only sound when a fire call has been dispatched to our department.

• We are proud to announce that Josh Campbell and Jesse Hawks have successfully passed their certification tests and are now officially firefighters. Congratulations to both on this great accomplishment!

We are only 4 weeks away from the 2026 Stop, Drop, and Run 5K! This event is open to everybody, whether you want to walk or run! Join us for a family friendly Saturday morning along the 3.1 mile course.

2 weeks left to lock in your tee shirt with your registration! There will not be shirts for sale at the event.
