"Help Save the Next Girl" William Byrd Chapter

Help Save the Next Girl is a national non-profit organization formed in honor of Morgan Dana Harrington, a 20-year-old Virginia Tech student who was abducted and murdered in 2009. Our foundation fosters mutual respect and camaraderie with young men, and we are committed to be an active, imaginative presence on campuses and in clubs and violence preve

ntion forums across the country. Our connections enhance our ability to quickly disseminate urgent information, such as about a missing person. Help Save the Next Girl also provides outreach support to victims' families. We believe our media presence also promotes our mission to keep young women and campus communities alert to predatory danger. We participate actively in endorsing legislation which augments safety practices in our communities. Through diligent activism in education, victim support, and legislation, we create a strong foundation against violence as we strive to Help Save the Next Girl.
