Good evening all,

A unanimous vote was passed at our last meeting to change our meeting times to 1700 (5pm) during the winter months ( December - March ) due to it getting darker earlier to accommodate some of our members. Our next meeting is next Thursday December 9th at 1700. See everyone there ! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

A lot of fun, and good food tonight in the company of some of America’s , and our communities finest ! Thanks to all that came out to help us celebrate Veterans Day at the VFW post 4522 in Vinton VA. If you are a veteran of a foreign war , or conflict, veteran or active duty and want to join an elite fraternity of American hero’s, our doors are open and we are always welcoming new members! Happy Veterans Day ! Thank you all so much for your faithful service to our nation ! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

The newest generation helping set up for tomorrow’s hot dog dinner ! Come on out and enjoy the fellowship as we celebrate our veterans for Veterans Day ! 530pm at the Vinton VFW post in downtown Vinton !

Our monthly meeting falls on Veterans Day! Next Thursday the 11th this year we will be enjoying hot dogs and chili at 530 before our meeting. Bring your friends and family for a good time of fellowship and celebration for all of our Veterans 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Welcome everyone! To the new, improved, upgraded and active page for VFW Post 4522 located in downtown Vinton VA!
We are here to support, and advocate for our veterans, and our community.
As of last year, our doors were almost closed permanently, but thanks to the tireless efforts of several of our members our post was selected for, and certified as an All-American Post.
The Mission of the VFW is as strong today as it has ever been. “To foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts. To serve our veterans, the military and our communities. To advocate on behalf of all veterans. “
If you have any interest in supporting our mission, are a veteran of any of our armed forces having served in an overseas conflict we want YOU to join our ranks of this historic, and honorable fraternity. This includes (Iraq, Afghanistan, Global War on Terror Veterans) If you have any questions about joining, or your eligibility, or if you just have questions in general about VFW Post 4522 or the VFW at large, please do not hesitate to reach out to us with your questions.
Our post meetings are every Thursday at 7PM, and we are currently brainstorming ideas of bringing back a monthly hot dog dinner / social night for our members and families.
