There’s something pretty incredible about watching Vineyard Haven Harbor from above. ⛴️🌊

Ferries coming and going, boats moving through the harbor, and the constant rhythm of a working waterfront that keeps our island connected and moving year-round.

A final sail for a Vineyard icon. ⛵️💙

This weekend, join the community in celebrating Shenandoah’s Final Voyage Home after more than 60 years of sailing Vineyard waters.

The celebration begins Friday with a Parade of Sail as Shenandoah makes her final voyage into Vineyard Haven Harbor, followed by a weekend of festivities at Black Dog Wharf.
⚓️ Friday, September 18: Parade of Sail — departing Tarpaulin Cove at noon
⚓️ Saturday, September 19: Dockside celebration at Black Dog Wharf, 5–7 PM
⚓️ Sunday, September 20: Step aboard Shenandoah for ship tours from 11 AM–5 PM

Come down to the waterfront, celebrate an extraordinary vessel, and be part of a special moment in Vineyard Haven history. 🤍⛵️
