The firm, unwavering dedication to achieving a goal—no matter the obstacles. It’s a blend of strong will, persistence, and purposeful focus.

This medical team truly embodied determination.

From the start, their journey to Mexico was filled with unexpected challenges—and from what I hear, the trip home held just as many adventures! Yet through every delay, detour, and difficulty, they pressed on with one clear purpose: to serve.

In just four days, this incredible team cared for over 325 people through the medical brigade. With our van in the shop, there were plenty of rides in the back of trucks, long days, and moments that required flexibility and grit.

But through it all—hope was given.

So thankful for each person who came, served, and made a lasting impact.

March 2026 MacGyver team.

Mac•Gy•ver | ma'givar | informal make or repair (an object) in an improvised or inventive way, making use of whatever items are at hand.

We took on 3 major projects along with several smaller ones for this team—installing solar panels, building a water treatment station, setting up two A/C units, constructing desks, completing various electrical work, and more.

The 8 men on this team worked incredibly hard and made it all happen with the resources we had available. They were a true joy to be around throughout the week, and we shared so many moments of laughter, growth, and learning together.

It was an honor to attend Osvaldo’s retirement party this afternoon where Archie brought the message and we had some delicious food courtesy of his wife, Ani.
Some of you might remember from the early days of our ministry, we would use Osvaldo’s combi to drive our mission teams around.
