Calling ALL shoppers...

Thanks to our friends at DNS Solutions, we now have the ability to make overhead announcements and remind guest in our Restore about our daily specials that we run. It also helps our team be readily avaialble for customer carry-outs or customer drop-offs during busy times.

Alot has been happening around here at Habitat πŸ˜€

We have been working along side of a few AMAZING local companies that have been SO KIND to donate their skills for all of us who work at the Restore & the Admin offices at 601 S. Delsea Dr.

There were a few missing pieces that we needed in order for us to do our jobs more efficiently and boy did they answer the call and answer it quickly.

We thought we would take the time to THANK them for their dedication to Habitat Cumberland and also our community.

We really needed a dedicated sink and water line for our "processing room" for the Restore. Mike and crew from Campana Plumbing answered that call without hesitation. Thanks to Camapana for always being there to help.

Stay tune as we have been VERY busy here at Habitat Cumberland and look forward to continuing our work all across Cumberland Co.

🚨 Habitat's Board Member Spotlight 🚨

Mr. Jose Lugo

At Cumberland County Habitat for Humanity, we’re proud to highlight the dedicated people who help move our mission forward.

We’re shining the spotlight on longtime board member Jose Lugo.

Originally from Atlantic City, Jose moved to Vineland in 1990 and has proudly called Cumberland County home ever since.

Growing up, Jose saw firsthand the challenges many families face when it comes to limited income and housing insecurity. Those experiences gave him a deep appreciation for the importance of having a safe, stable place to call home and helped shape his commitment to giving back.

β€œServing on the Board of Directors for Cumberland County Habitat for Humanity gives me the opportunity to support families who may be facing some of the same struggles I witnessed growing up. It is an honor to be part of an organization that helps people build a better future.”

Professionally, Jose serves as an Operations Manager in the automotive industry, where he focuses on leading teams, developing future leaders, and making a positive impact through servant leadership. He is also the owner of Recon Performance Solutions LLC, a small business providing automotive services.

Above all, Jose is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who places faith, family, and community at the center of his life.

β€œI believe we are blessed so that we can be a blessing to others. Whether through my work, my business, or my service with Habitat for Humanity, my goal is simple: to give back, create opportunities for others, and leave my community better than I found it.”

Cumberland County Habitat for Humanity is calling on our community, local businesses, golfers, friends, and supporters to GET INVOLVED in our 2026 Golf Classic, held in memory of Dick Baum.

This is much more than a day of golf. Every golfer, sponsor, and supporter helps us continue building safe, decent, affordable homes for hardworking families right here in Cumberland County.

What an incredible day at our Cumberland County Habitat for Humanity home build in Carmel!

We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to every volunteer who came out, rolled up their sleeves, and helped us continue turning this home from a vision into reality. From mixing mortar and laying block to moving materials, measuring, leveling, and lending a hand wherever it was needed β€” every person played a part.

These photos show what Habitat is all about: people coming together, working side by side, and building something that will make a lasting difference for a local family and our community.

Our LOCAL VOLUNTEER union masons will be on site laying brick, and we are looking for some HEAVY LIFTERS to help support the crew and keep this important project moving forward!

We appreciate ALL the MEN & WOMEN from the union that are spending their Sat helping us bless our AMAZING FAMILY. Your generosity is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

There is something powerful about seeing people come together to serve their community. 🫢

At our Habitat work site at 101 West Ave. in Carmel, NJ, volunteers have been putting in the hard work needed to keep this project moving forward lifting block, moving materials, πŸ’ͺ working alongside equipment, and doing whatever is needed to help build a better future for a local family.

We were especially grateful to have New Jersey State Trooper Lambert πŸš” step in and work alongside our volunteers. Trooper Lambert rolled up his sleeves and joined the team on the job site, showing that service to the community can take many forms.

Our Habitat projects are made possible because of people who are willing to give their time, talent, and energy. You do not have to be a construction professional to volunteer. Whether you can help on a build site, support an event, assist behind the scenes, or simply lend a hand where it is needed most, there is a place for you to make a difference. 🏘

Every volunteer hour helps us move one step closer to providing safe, affordable housing and strengthening the communities we serve.

This is what community looks like neighbors helping neighbors, working side by side, and building something bigger than themselves. πŸ’šπŸ€πŸ’™
