Today is World Hunger Day, a reminder that hunger is not just a global issue, but one that impacts our own community every day. Cumberland County has one of the highest food insecurity rates in New Jersey, with nearly 1 in 8 residents facing hunger.

At Vineland Soup Kitchen, we are proud to serve as a resource for individuals and families throughout Vineland and Cumberland County. Our doors are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM, providing breakfast, lunch, and support to those in need. Together, we can continue building a stronger, healthier, and more nourished community.

May is both Older Americans Month and Mental Health Awareness Month, and Vineland Soup Kitchen is happy to be a part of meaningful outreach.

From the Cumberland County Office on Aging & Disability Services Senior Music Festival, to Vineland Public Schools Preschool Little Folks Festival, the QCEHS Parent Policy Council’s Family Wellness Event, and the Cumberland County Mental Health & Addictions Board’s “You Are Not Alone: Let’s Walk About It,” our community has been filled with connection.

Vineland Soup Kitchen is proud to be a vital part of Cumberland County’s trusted resources for individuals and families. We are grateful to stand alongside so many partners who are working every day to support wellness and connection across all ages.

We are incredibly honored to announce that Vineland Soup Kitchen has been named the 2026 Best Nonprofit Organization in the Best of the Best awards!

A heartfelt thank you to the entire Vineland community for your continued support, encouragement, and belief in our mission. We are grateful to everyone who voted for us and helped make this recognition possible.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Vineland Voice and the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce for hosting this annual celebration of excellence.

We’re incredibly grateful to announce that Vineland Soup Kitchen has received a generous grant from Albertsons Companies Foundation through the Nourishing Neighbors program, proudly supported by ACME Markets and its family of stores.

A special thank you to Kate for joining us at our first community barbecue for the check presentation. It meant so much to celebrate this moment together with our guests and supporters!

The Nourishing Neighbors program is committed to ensuring that all members of the community have access to nourishing food. Through initiatives like school pantries, summer meals, weekend backpacks for children, holiday dinners, and more, they are working to make sure every table is full so our neighbors can thrive. We’re honored to be part of this mission. It takes all of us working together to end hunger, and partnerships like this bring us one step closer.
