On March 18, 2026, three women were inducted into the Cumberland County Women's Hall of Fame at their annual gala:

1. Effie Aldrich Morrison (posthumously) - recognized for her contribution to elderly citizens during the Great Depression. She served as the Deputy Director of the Cumberland County Welfare Board and was responsible for securing the funds to create the first community for the elderly (Roosevelt Park in Millville) which was a model for communities like it across the nation.

2. Robin A. Walton - recognized for being a distinguished leader and advocate for equity in health care, education and economic opportunity in Cumberland County acting as Senior Vice President of External Affairs and Chief Philanthropy Officer of Inspira Health Network. She is recognized across the State as a leader in Business and made history as the first African American and only 4th woman in 152 years to chair the Chamber of Commerce of Southern NJ Board of Directors representing 1,200 companies.

3. Jennifer Webb-McRae - recognized for being Cumberland County's first African American and first female County Prosecutor. She is serving her third term (first appointed by Gov. Corzine, then by Gov. Christie and finally by Gov. Murphy). She spearheads the Cumberland County Positive Youth Development Coalition, the state's first county-wide Youth Policy and Prevention Board which is responsible for policy and practice changes that steer youth away from the Youth Justice system and towards positive development. Prosecutor Webb-McRae is the President-Elect of the National District Attorney's Association.

The CCWHOF raises funds to award scholarships to young people throughout the Cumberland County community. The Board is chaired by Dr. Shelley Schneider.

Dawn S. Hunter, Executive Director of the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce was the night's emcee.

The Cumberland County Women’s Hall of Fame is seeking nominations of accomplished women to be honored by the Hall at its thirteenth annual induction ceremony to be held on March 18, 2026. The deadline for nominations is October 15.
Anyone can nominate outstanding women who have made significant contributions to a profession, the community, and/or women’s causes. Women selected for the Hall of Fame must be or have been an innovator and a role model. She must be a native of Cumberland County or be employed in the county or have made her contributions here.
“Since the Hall’s first induction ceremony in 2009, 58 women have been honored with this distinction,” said Shelly Schneider, President of the Hall’s Board of Directors. “We know there are many more great women who are deserving.”

Winners will be selected by the Nominations Committee of the Hall of Fame and will be notified in November. The induction ceremony will be on March 18, 2026 at Merighi’s Savoy Inn.

The CCWOF has announced their 2025 nominees to the Hall of Fame!
