The people inside Delaney Hall have been sending letters to the outside world. Now it's our turn to write back.

Join us for an evening of writing letters of love, solidarity, and encouragement to people detained inside Delaney Hall. Together, we'll remind them that they are not forgotten, that their voices are being heard, and that there is a community outside these walls standing with them in their fight for freedom.

In a system designed to isolate people from their families, communities, and support networks, even a simple letter can be a powerful act of connection and resistance.

No writing experience is needed. Just bring your compassion, your solidarity, and your willingness to show up.

Letters in Spanish, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, and other languages are especially encouraged (translation support will be provided)

Because no one should have to face detention alone.

As more people get involved in the struggle, we all have a responsibility to take security seriously. Signal is a great tool, but no app can replace good security culture.

Security isn't a product. It's a practice.

It's understanding that our movements are watched, monitored, and often criminalized. Information that seems harmless today can be used against organizers, immigrants, protesters, and community members tomorrow.

Just as importantly, security isn't something we learn from an Instagram post alone. Real security comes from relationships, trust, training, and learning from experienced organizers in our communities.

Take a few minutes to review these tips.

Knowing your rights is one of the best ways to protect yourself and your community. Take a few minutes to review this information before you arrive. Share it with others. Make a plan. Look out for one another.

As people continue showing up in solidarity with the detainees on hunger and labor strike inside Delaney Hall, police have established checkpoints and are reportedly preventing people from bringing backpacks, protective goggles, respirators, and other PPE into the area.

Let's be clear about what this means.

They want you afraid. They want you unprotected. They want you to see checkpoints, police lines, searches, and have an increased risk of harm by their chemical weapons and decide it's easier to stay home.

Don't.

It is important that you do not just accept this. Know what police can and cannot do and assert your rights calmly and clearly. Document everything and most importantly, do not let intimidation keep you from showing up.

The people inside Delaney Hall are risking retaliation, isolation, transfers, and violence to demand freedom. The least we can do is refuse to be scared away from standing with them.
