On May 29, Vineland High School hosted its third FFA Banquet, a special event highlighting its students’ and staff’s achievements and dedication. The evening began with an introduction of the officer team, led by agriculture teacher and FFA advisor Annaliese Castellini. The officers started the event with the traditional FFA opening ceremonies, followed by a warm welcome from FFA President Adam Giocondo. After a delicious dinner, the awards portion of the evening commenced. Emmaline Jagels and Laci Lemma delivered a recitation of the FFA Creed, and the State FFA Secretary, Kayla Romero, shared inspiring words with the audience.
The event then moved on to recognize the recipients of the Greenhand Degree, honoring new members for their commitment to the FFA. Special recognition was also given to Brooke Kaenzig, VHS marketing teacher and Farm Credit East, both of whom were awarded Honorary Chapter Degrees for their significant support.
Students with high GPAs were celebrated for their academic achievements, and awards were presented to outstanding members who have shown exceptional dedication throughout the year. Additional recognitions were given for member contributions and success in Career Development Events (CDEs).
Following dessert, the State Convention awards were handed out, highlighting more student achievements. Graduating seniors received well-deserved recognition for their contributions, and retiring officers were honored for their leadership.
The evening concluded with the installation of new officers, who are now tasked with leading the chapter in the upcoming year.

On May 20th - 22nd Vineland FFA attended the New Jersey FFA convention at Monmouth University. Nineteen Vineland FFA members attended and competed in various competitions and events. Vineland FFA members also participated in the New Jersey FFA day of service event where they assembled items for the Burlington County animal shelter. Members attended general sessions, leadership workshops, and spoke to many colleges and organizations that were present. We explored the campus of Monmouth University and saw the historic Great Hall. Members represented the Vineland chapter with pride and excitement throughout the convention. Below is a list of accomplishments.
• Chapter President Adam Giocondo served on the state nominating committee to select the New Jersey State FFA officers for the 2026-2027 school year.
• Gurtejbir Singh & Eva Testa served as chapter delegates representing the Vineland FFA chapter
• Nine Vineland Members received their own FFA jacket as part of the Blue Jackets Bright Futures program.
• Vineland FFA received an Excellence in community service award
• The Vineland FFA chapter scrapbook placed 2nd in the state
• The Vineland FFA portable exhibit, a display featuring achievements of the chapter placed 3rd
• Last the Vineland FFA chapter was recognized as a National Superior Chapter

Vineland FFA is a part of our agriculture science CTE program at Vineland High School. FFA is a national organization that promotes leadership, personal growth, and career success. Our Agriculture program consists of four courses that students can take all four years of high school. Our courses are recognized for credits to Rutgers University and Delaware Valley University. Vineland FFA members have been working hard growing flowers and vegetables in our greenhouse. All funds raised go towards our FFA chapter to pay for competition fees, leadership fees, and bussing. Ending FFA week our $1 flower and plant sale! Students and staff are loving our sale! With each purchase you get a chance to spin our FFA prize wheel. We love getting the whole school involved with FFA activities! 💙💛

Today is our teacher appreciation day for FFA week! Teachers and staff were able to order a drink and snack through a google form. FFA members then prepared the order and delivered it right to their classroom or office. Each order came with a FFA emblem sticker! Thank you teachers and staff for all you do!
