🚨 IT’S PARNELLI TIME! 🚨

The Parnelli Awards are just 143 days away, and now is the time to make sure the talented people in our industry get the recognition they deserve.

Last year, Roadies of Color United Co-Founder Lance “KC” Jackson was honored as Stage Manager of the Year — and that recognition happened because YOU nominated. YOU voted. YOU showed up.

Now let’s do it again — and let’s do it BIGGER.

There are incredible professionals working behind the scenes every day — stage managers, production managers, audio engineers, lighting professionals, video crews, riggers, technicians and countless others — whose work helps make this industry what it is.

Let’s make sure their names are in the room.

🏆 NOMINATE.
🗳️ VOTE.
📣 SHARE.
✊🏾 GET OUR PEOPLE RECOGNIZED.

Recognition creates visibility.
Visibility creates opportunity.
And opportunity helps open doors for the next generation.

Who deserves to be recognized at the next Parnelli Awards?

The touring world lost a real one yesterday.

We lost another one of our Brothers. ROCU would like to offer our most sincere condolences and prayers to all of the Family, friends and staff of Al Brown and “ Behind The Scenes Catering “.

Al Brown—founder of Behind The Scenes Catering out of Grand Rapids, Michigan—was more than a caterer… he was family to the road. For years, Al and his team fed the heartbeat of the industry, traveling city to city alongside some of the biggest R&B tours, making sure crews and artists alike were taken care of.

If you’ve ever been out there, you know—it’s not just about the food. It’s about the timing, the consistency, the care… and Al delivered all of that with pride. Long days, overnight drives, early load-ins… and somehow, he was always there with a hot meal and a warm spirit.

Behind the scenes is where the real work happens, and Al Brown was one of the ones who made it all possible.

Rest easy, Al. Your impact traveled farther than the miles you logged.

LEGACY. IMPACT. CULTURE. 🖤

Congratulations to New Edition, Boyz II Men, Toni Braxton and the whole BPC family 👏🏽
