Here’s a heartfelt Facebook post that shares your experience, your love for worship, and your passion for serving in the children’s ministry. ❤️🙏
Who said that when you serve in the church, you can’t enjoy the service? 🙌🏼❤️
As someone who serves in the children’s ministry, I can honestly say that serving God doesn’t mean you have to miss out on His presence! Sometimes, we may be busy working behind the scenes, teaching, guiding, and caring for our children, but that doesn’t mean we stop worshipping, listening, or receiving what God has for us.
This week, I was in the classroom during both services. Even while teaching the children, I was still listening to the Word, worshipping, and receiving what God had for me. And you know what? You don’t just teach the children; you learn from them, too! You hear their thoughts, their questions, and the things they share, and sometimes God uses those very moments to teach you something new.
One of the most beautiful parts of serving in ministry is knowing that you are not alone. You have brothers and sisters in Christ who stand beside you, support you, encourage you, and help make the vision possible.
I am SO happy and incredibly proud of everyone who has joined our children’s ministry and has committed their time, love, and dedication to this calling. Every person who serves is making a difference, and together, we are planting seeds that will continue to grow in the hearts of our children.
This is bigger than us. This is about the next generation. This is about teaching our children the Word of God, leading them closer to Jesus, and giving them a foundation of faith that will carry them throughout their lives.
We may be working while others are sitting in the sanctuary, but we are still in His presence, still receiving His Word, and still worshipping our King! Because ministry is not just about what we do; it’s about who we are doing it for.
To my children’s ministry team, THANK YOU! Thank you for showing up, for serving with love, and for helping make this vision possible. May God continue to strengthen us, unite us, and use us for His glory!
We are not just caring for children; we are raising up the next generation of believers!
May God continue to bless your heart for serving and the work you are doing in the lives of these children! ❤️🙏
