It’s that time of year to start our drive to stuff the U-Haul for Jillian’s birthday. We appreciate everyone’s continued support in our mission to help the RMHC of Columbus. We will be taking everything to Columbus on her birthday.

I figured today would be a great day to give a little life update.

This year has been one of the most challenging years of my life. In January I had a planned surgery that went very wrong. Due to the complications that has led me to many more surgeries this year. In total, I’m up to 12 surgeries and still going. The complications will stick with me forever. I have missed around 4 months of work this year. I am very thankful my supervisors have been fantastic and worked with me through all of this.

Mikey has been great. Him and K9 Cedric have been working hard this year. We did lose K9 Brody this year. He had a massive stroke and ended up passing away on Jilly’s heavenly birthday.

Bryson is in 7th grade now. I really don’t know how this happened. He plays his last football game of the season tomorrow night. We are proud of him. Hes worked very hard this season. He’s already signed up for the next sport to keep us on our toes.

Cayson is in 5th grade. He starts his football playoffs this weekend with a bye. His team took the 1st place spot going into playoffs. He says he wants to give wrestling a go this winter so he’s also keeping us on our toes. We wouldn’t know what to do if we had a free weekend. We are proud of him for stepping out of his comfort zone to try something new.

Kayden is in kindergarten. He is making new friends and he loves school. He will probably do basketball later on this winter to add to our chaos.

All the boys worked hard this year on their 4-H projects.

We hope everyone is doing well.

Love,
The Harlow’s

Thank you!!
This was our first day of deliveries. We are off to a great start for the RMH for Jillys birthday! We cannot thank everyone enough for contributing to our annual drive in memory of Jilly. We look forward to this drive every year. Jillys brothers came home from school to all the boxes and they immediately started smiling. They love doing this fundraiser for Jilly just as much as we do. 💕

Jillian’s Heavely birthday is 1 month away so it is time to start preparing for our annual drive for the Ronald McDonald House. This drive was important to Jilly. We started this tradition on her first birthday and we have continued doing it every year since 2018.

I will be attaching the Amazon wish list in this post and I’m going to attach some photos from over the years.

We would love to thank everyone that has contributed over the years. Every year people continue to give in her memory and every year the drive gets bigger and bigger. We cannot thank everyone enough for their continued support.

If anyone has poptabs theyve beenen collecting, we can take those as well.

Time sure is flying by. Next month it will be four years since Jilly passed. Yesterday we went up to the cemetery and left her some glittery flowers that we knew she would love.

Our boys have finished up basketball and now we are moving right into NFL flag football. These kids sure do know how to keep us busy. Kayden is growing up. It’s hard to believe Jillys baby boy will be 5 this year.

This weekend the boys are cashing in on a Christmas gift and we are heading to Columbus. We have OSU hockey today and tomorrow we have OSU basketball. Go Bucks!

I had surgery in January and it’s felt like a long recovery even though it was only 5 weeks ago. Mikey and the boys have been taking great care of me. I am crossing my fingers that I get to return to work and Clinical’s in 2 weeks. I’m in my final semester of nursing school. It is hard to believe it’s already been two years. Graduation is right around the corner. Time has flown by.

Mikey’s been busy with work and helping with the boys sports teams. He is going to help coach NFL flag. He is loving being a resource officer at the boys school. He is making a big difference in so many of the students lives.

Due to our busy lives and trying to enjoy the boys, we did take a step back from the foundation. We scaled back our fundraising and our purpose a little. We decided to focus on the things Jilly was passionate about and what can make the biggest difference in her memory. We are continuing the scholarship in memory of Jilly. We will also be doing the RMH birthday drive in her memory. We started this when she was still with us and we want to continue this on in her memory. We also did a toy drive at Christmas when she was still alive so that is something else we may continue. Helping the families at the RMH and the hospital will always be important to our family. As for fundraising we will be doing the bare minimum to meet our needs. We will probably be selling our Easter eggs and maybe a little fundraiser here and there, but for now we will not be doing our bingos or other larger events. We appreciate everyone’s continued support over the years. It has meant the world to our family.

Enjoy photos from our “vacation” at Thanksgiving. We decided to surprise the boys with tickets to watch the Dolphins and the Packers play. Bryson supports the dolphins in Jillys memory and we are all packers fans. This was the perfect game. We all had a wonderful time even though it was freezing.

We hope everyone has been well and is having a wonderful new year. One of my goals this year is try to post more. I’m terrible at it. I don’t even use my personal fb that much.

Happy New Year!

Love,
Jillys family
