Kroger Grand Opening in Noblesville, IN📍🛒

I had an incredible day spent handing out Black Diamond watermelon samples, teaching customers how to pick the perfect watermelon, and sharing so many fun facts about our favorite fruit!

By the end of the day, over 300 samples had been handed out and more than 125 watermelons left the store with happy customers! WOW!🍉

A huge thank you to Mouzin Brothers Farms for sponsoring this promotion and Kroger for so graciously hosting us! Seeing so many people excited about watermelon was truly rewarding! Here’s to a great watermelon season ahead!

Wrapping up Day 3 in Washington, D.C. 🇺🇸

We met with members of Congress from Indiana to discuss key issues impacting agriculture, including the Farm Bill and the Ag Workforce Act. We thanked House members for their work on the Farm Bill, encouraged Senators to continue moving it forward, and encouraged House members to consider co-signing the Ag Workforce Act, which is about strengthening and sustaining our agricultural workforce.

We also had the opportunity to hear from U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins and discuss the future of agriculture, food security, and rural communities.

One topic that was especially meaningful to me to discuss was nutrition. We talked about the importance of ensuring children have access to fresh, nutritious food from a young age and helping them build healthy habits that last a lifetime.

I even had the chance to share the “Look, Lift, Turn” method with Congressman Mark Messmer and his team to ensure they pick the perfect watermelon everytime!

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to advocate for Indiana and Illinois agriculture, and help share the story of our farmers and communities. 🌾
