🎉❄️ KITTY COOL DOWN IS FULLY FUNDED!!! ❄️🎉

We originally set out to raise $4,500 for our new A/C project — and you all blew right past it.

Together, we raised $4,975, which ended up covering almost exactly the full final cost after installation. 🥹🐾

That means this project is officially DONE and PAID FOR thanks to everyone who donated, shared, attended fundraisers, shopped with us, and helped us keep pushing toward the finish line.

Our kitties now have a cool, comfortable space to call home, and we didn’t have to pull those costs from the funds that keep our everyday lifesaving work going.

Thank you for making Kitty Cool Down happen. ❤️❄️🐱

💔 In Memory of Cricket 💔

We tried, sweet boy.

Cricket was found sick in a colony and brought to us so we could give him a chance. We hoped that with warmth, food, medical care, and a whole lot of love, he could fight his way back.

But Cricket was already too sick, and despite our efforts, we couldn’t save him. 😢

What we could do was make sure he wasn’t alone. He was warm. He was safe. He was cared for. And for the time he was with us, he knew that his little life mattered.

Sometimes rescue doesn’t get the ending we desperately want. Sometimes all we can give them is comfort, dignity, and love at the end.

Rest easy, Cricket. You mattered. 🐾💙
