Dear Teenagers of Knox County,
This letter comes straight from the heart of your community, from the neighbors, teachers, coaches, mentors, and families who see you every single day and believe deeply in who you are and who you're becoming.
We want you to know something important: you matter. Your dreams matter. Your struggles matter. Your future matters.
This community is committed to standing beside you, not just in words, but in action. We are investing in your well-being because we know the challenges you face are real, and we refuse to let you face them alone.
And here's something we hope inspires you: when people come together to do good for others, the world takes notice. That spirit of caring and action has been recognized all the way in Los Angeles, California, by five-time Grammy Award nominee Josh Groban, who has awarded our community a grant to continue supporting you. This grant opens the door for you to participate in the performing arts, giving you new opportunities to express yourselves, discover your talents, and build confidence that will carry you through life.
In the attached videos, you'll see the genuine reactions of Tiffany Muranaka and Mayor Joe Yochum as they received this incredible news. Their joy and emotion are real, and they reflect just how deeply this community cares about your future.
We hope you understand how much your future matters, not just here at home, but across the country...even in L.A.
Stop in after school or join the musical this summer at Old Town Players. We'll be there to cheer you on!
Sincerely,
The people and organizations behind the Vincennes Teen Center
