Knox County Homeless Task Force The Knox County Homeless Task force is a chapter of the Homeless Service Council based in Evansville.

It was created through Charity Tracker of the United Way of Knox County to educate, coordinate, and build services for Homeless in our area.

This morning Kurt Phegley of Duke Energy and Mark Hill of United Way of Knox County Vincennes presented Melissa Hendrix (Board President), John Hidde (Board Vice President) and Mark Hendrix (Volunteer) with a “Food Insecurity Grant” in the amount of $3,000 dollars.

This money will be used to supply Vincennes Community Food Pantry with food for those experiencing food insecurity in our community. THANK YOU United Way of Knox County Vincennes and Duke Energy for this much needed gift.
