It was a wonderful solstice potluck at the Grange…as we celebrated Peter Richards’ favorite day of the year. We attempted and partially succeeded in singing some of the songs of the Revels. As usual - the food was spectacular!

Last weekend, on December 6th, Dani Stewart and Tom Crisp held their wedding reception at the Grange. The Grange members send their heartfelt good wishes fort all the joy that marriage can bring!

We planted 2 American Chestnuts at the Grange this year thanks to a generous gift from Ron Desrosiers. Here's an interesting article about some other efforts to restart this species in Maine.

French drain work crew! Thanks to Doug, Dick, Cay, Jack, Dan and Bill Alcorn (not in photo) for all the work to make that area of the Grange usable for more of the year. This area just west of the building has many weeks when it is too wet to use and we’re hoping this new drain will make it more useful for community events.
