Another great Vilonia Teacher Fair in the books! Thank you to our local business community and our great school district for loving on our teachers and staff today. It was a great event and a great kickoff to another incredible year of educating our students! Big thank you to our volunteers and VCDC board members in attendance. Did you know: In 1861, a small group of pioneers hailing from North Carolina, Mississippi, and Tennessee settled into the area near the Cypress Creek forks. They named their new home Vilsonia, meaning "land of two valleys," after the landscape. So if my math is correct, Vilonia is now 165 years old?!
