What a run for the Ville Platte 6U Allstar team this past weekend. After starting 0-2 in pool play, this team never stopped battling in bracket play and was able to reach Top-4 in the 6U State Tournament. Their season may come to an end, but the job is not over. Congratulations to the boy and coaches for a great season.

Congratulations to the Ville Platte 10U Allstar team with the accomplishment of State Runner-Up. Falling short of their goal this weekend to defeat Pontiff in a Best of 3 series. But it was a summer of achievements Ville Platte 10U has not be able to accomplish in quite some time. These boys played hard and handled business up until the last standing team. Great Job & Congratulations to the boys and coaches on this Allstar run. The job is not over, we still have work to do!!

What a weekend for our Ville Platte 8u Allstar team. Going 6-2 in the Elite 8 State Tournament and only losing to the State Champions, Girard. This team fought hard over 3 days and ending their season as State Runner-Ups!! That makes it back to back years Ville Platte has battled in the 8U State Tournament becoming State Runner-Ups. The job is not over, there is still work to be done! Congratulations to the team and coaches representing Ville Platte well this season.

Let's wish our Ville Platte 6U Allstar team the best of luck as they travel to Metairie, LA for their Louisiana DYB 6U State Tournament. With their recent performance in District, the Ville Platte won District Runner-Up after a hard fought tournament and qualified for the State Tournament. Good Luck Ville Platte 6s as you guys take on teams from across the state to battle it out on the diamond to be crowned Louisiana State Champions!

Congratulations to our Ville Platte 12U Allstar team on going undefeated in district to claim District Champions. They will travel to Metairie, LA this weekend to play in the Louisiana DYB Majors State Tournament. You can listen to the games on KVPI as their game will be broadcasted on the radio. A season well fought for our Ville Platte 7U Allstar team. They went undefeated in district to claim District Champions. Then, the 7s played in their State Tournament this previous weekend and fell short of their goal (State Champs). Congratulations boys on a good summer and just keep hammering!!

Our Ville Platte Super 10's are heading to the State Championship as your Louisiana DYB Super 10's South Reginal Champions!!!! With an undefeated record, Ville Platte took care of business against Lakeshore in the championship game winning 11-2. The Ville Platte 8U Allstar team is bringing home some hardware. Say hello to your Louisiana DYB South Reginal 8U Champions. Ville Platte held a 6-1 record while having to play 3 games yesterday and defeating Miley 1-0 in the championship game. Way to go boys, and good luck in the Elite 8 State Tournament next weekend.
