The Ville Platte 12 year old Dixie Majors are competing in a district tournament. Last night
the team won 10-9 in 2 extra innings against Oakdale. They were down 2 in the bottom of the sixth and tied it. They were down 9-6 in the bottom of the 8th and came back and defeated Oakdale 10-9. The team advances to the finals at 5:30 today. Good luck to the all stars.

The Ville Platte 6U Tee Ball Allstars fell to Bossier 20-12 today in this double elimination tournament. Ville Platte is still in it and have qualified to compete in the Regional World Series. Good luck Allstars in the rest of the tournament.

They will play Haughton at 5:15 today.
