Today, Philadelphia City Council officially recognized June 15 as Elora Joyce Khan Pediatric Brain Cancer Awareness Day honoring what would have been Elora's 10th birthday and shining a light on one of the deadliest childhood cancers.

We are deeply grateful to Councilmember Isaiah Thomas for championing this resolution, Council President Kenyatta Johnson for standing with our family and sharing his own connection after losing his 9-year-old nephew to brain cancer, Councilmember Nina Ahmad, and the many City Council members and staff who welcomed us with compassion and support.

What began as our fight for Elora has grown into a movement making pediatric brain cancer impossible to ignore across Pennsylvania.

From the State Capitol in Harrisburg to Philadelphia City Hall, communities across the Commonwealth are standing together for children affected by pediatric brain cancer. On June 15, landmarks, buildings, bridges, and communities will shine blue and purple in honor of Elora and every child impacted by this disease.

A little girl who lived just seven years is helping change the future for children across Pennsylvania.

Because kids can't fight alone. 💙💜

One of our promises is to continue sharing Elora's love for Jesus.

Today, we were honored to gift each 2nd grade student celebrating their First Holy Communion a copy of Elora's faith-based coloring book, Color Me in Sunshine, along with a Bible and special treats to mark this beautiful milestone.

Elora's faith was a guiding light in her life, and it brings us joy to share a small piece of her love for Jesus with these children as they take this important step in their own faith journey.

Congratulations to this special group of students. May God bless them always. 💜✨

This Mother’s Day, love showed up quietly on doorsteps, through mailed boxes, and in the hearts of mothers carrying unimaginable loss. 💜

We delivered and shipped special care baskets to bereaved mothers, gentle reminders that their children, their motherhood, and their love are forever held close.

Each basket was created with tenderness and intention for moms carrying both deep love and deep loss.

was the heart behind this extension of love. Beautifully created with love by and included a special gift from .

Eliska's helping hands made every package even more special. She said a little prayer for each mom 🦋

In a world that moves so quickly, may we always make space to remember, honor, and hold one another through grief and love.

“For the mothers who carry love beyond this world 💜
From our hearts to yours.”

During Nurses Week, we are especially grateful for the nurses who leave fingerprints on a family’s heart forever. 💜

In the final week of Elora’s life on this side of heaven, one of those nurses was Danielle.

From the moment they met, there was an unspoken bond between them. Danielle did not just care for Elora medically, she truly saw her. She met her with gentleness, presence, and love during some of the hardest moments imaginable.

Elora reached up, made the sign of the cross on Danielle’s forehead, and then asked Danielle to make a cross on her steering wheel too. A miraculous moment followed.

Danielle loved on Elora so intentionally. She even brought her own bracelet from home for her. She saw "Resilience" and God’s love in this little girl.

Seeing Danielle later choose to wear an Elora's blue bracelet, handcrafted by another incredible nurse in our community, @, on one of the most important days of her own life was incredibly moving. In a room filled with celebration, love, and new beginnings, a piece of Elora was there too. đź’™

Nurses carry our children with them long after the hospital room is gone.

To Danielle, and to the nurses at and everywhere who care not only for the patient, but for the soul of a family - thank you!

Some nurses give medicine.
Some nurses give pieces of their hearts.

And families never forget the ones who do both.

Andy, a senior at Villanova, hosted a beary special Build-A-Bear evening for Elora 🧸💜

Andy has spent time researching DIPG at University of Michigan lab, and she understands just how urgent this fight & advocacy is. For her, it’s not just research. It’s personal, having faced a brain tumor diagnosis close to home with her own dad.

Her friends & fellow students came together to "build" bears, share love, and bear witness to something bigger than themselves 🧸

Each bear wasn’t just cute. it was stuffed with comfort, hope, and a reminder that no child should face this alone.

It was simple.
It was meaningful.
It was un-bear-ably beautiful 🧸✨

Grateful for Andy, for Villanova, and for hearts that turn compassion into action. 🦋
