Ascend is the largest, non-profit Pan-Asian membership organization for business professionals in North America. Established in 2005, Ascend's network includes 60,000+ senior executives, professionals, and MBA/undergraduate students involved in its 50+ chapters. As a career lifecycle organization, Ascend offers robust leadership and professional development programs designed to cultivate Pan-Asian
talent by supporting our members in reaching their career potential and our corporate partners to develop a strong, diverse, and inclusive workforce to achieve business growth. As of Fall 2020, with the strong support of our faculty advisor Prof. Lucy Chen, Villanova's student chapter of Ascend has been officially established and is open to all students regardless of race and ethnicity. Through Ascend, we hope to enhance international awareness, cooperation, cultural diversity, and dialogue among students and professionals. Ascend provides opportunities for Pan-Asian students through its extensive network, scholarships, and mentorship program. Furthermore, Ascend's partnerships and national recognition allows us to connect with many major firms and banks, including the Big 4, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Boeing, U.S. Department of State, and Accenture, creating a unique and tailored professional experience for its members.
