It’s hard to believe, but it’s been 3 years since we traveled up to those 3 West Virginia schools and blessed every single student with Christmas gifts. Many of you have asked why it’s been so long, and the truth is… life hit us in ways we didn’t expect.

Our partner and dear friend Larry Weaver became very sick during that time, and that journey eventually led to his passing. Losing him shook us all deeply. And to be completely honest, grief hit each of us differently. Instead of pushing forward, we put the brakes on… when in reality, we probably should’ve hit full throttle.
But here’s the good news: we’re back, and we’re going full force! 🙌❤️

This year, instead of doing Christmas gifts for those sweet kiddos in West Virginia, God has shifted our focus. We feel deeply called to continue serving local families, especially families who have loved ones in recovery.

Many of you know our daughter has battled addiction for over 11 years. Today, by the grace of God, she has been in faith-based recovery for 4 months and is doing wonderful! 🙏💙
And with that miracle happening in our own home, our eyes and hearts have been opened even wider.

At the facility she’s in, there are several women who won’t be able to go home for Christmas because they are still in Phase 1. This facility takes them on a couple of outings when funds allow, but we want to make this Christmas special for them. Many of these women do not have family support right now because of the choices they made in the past (We all have a past and the Lord never left us)— but that’s neither here nor there.
It is our responsibility to love like Jesus and to be His hands and feet. ✝️

So this year, Creating Hope will be blessing:
🎁 The women currently in recovery
🎁 Their children and families who are still involved
🎁 And local families in need right here in our community(let us know if you know someone in need.
🎁 40 Boys and girls in West Virginia
This was last minute, but Jesus worked it out🙌🏼

We simply want to be obedient, to serve, and to pour out love the way the Lord has poured into us.

Ok prayer warriors...... I have a friend named Pat that has had a stroke. I'm not sure ALL the details, but my Father does!!! Pat asked me to pray and I told her that I would definitely pray, but I would also get a prayer chain started for her as well. If you will PLEASE pray for Pat.

Don't ever forget that you are the light of the world!! Your actions are shining daily, those great things you do , those bad things you do, and those Godly things you do! Alright my people!!!! We have a MAJOR need just brought to our attention. We have a family of 5, mom, dad, little boy 1, little boy 4& little girl 6 that their house has burned today. They rented their house and I don’t know all the details and honestly that don’t really matter!!! What REALLY matters is they need to be shown the LOVE OF CHRIST right now! That’s the real meaning of the season anyway. If you want to help, please reach out to me and I can give you the needs. We have all the toy needs met, but they are in need of food, toiletries,clothing and mainly a place to live. We also have some clothing, but will definitely need more.
