Tomorrow marks 10 years since Joan Tyson graduated to Heaven. She is so missed by all who knew her and were touched by her compassion, but we thank God for her life and all she did for the Lord.

We all share the same sense of gratitude to the Lord for Sister Joan’s life, which is why we want to honor her legacy. She surely already has her crown in heaven, and we want to remember her faithfulness to God and share how her obedience and compassion, her willingness to reach out to a soul and meet the needs of her neighbor, brought about the impact of which you are now a part. 🙌🏻✨

In two days, it will be 10 years since one of the founders of GSBM went to be with the Lord. Her faithfulness to the Lord’s work is worthy of remembrance; her love for her neighbor is worth highlighting and serves as an example for us to follow. She made everyone around her feel loved; she had a gift for making each person feel special. If you had the privilege of serving alongside her, we encourage you to keep an eye out for our upcoming posts and to start digging out the photos and stories you have of her. 🤍🙌🏼

Let’s seek the things above now that our lives belong to Christ. We can live a full life in Him, without clinging to the temporary or to what this world promises, because Christ is enough. Let’s set our eyes on Christ, our glory and reward.

Testimony
Last year we went to the hospital to spend time with the children there, and we met Luis David, who had broken his leg. This little boy held Arold’s hand so tightly that Arold could feel Luis David’s fear—he was so terrified because his surgery was scheduled for the next day. God used Arold to give him hope by telling him that he could trust in God, that God was taking care of him. We were able to pray for him and watch as his fearful expression gave way to peace; tears welled up in our eyes as we prayed. We knew that the Christmas box had led us to Luis David so that we could share our faith with him and his mother at that very moment.

Pastoral ministry is both a great privilege and a great challenge. We encourage you to include our pastors and their wives, as well as their churches, in your prayers.

Each one plays an important role in the ministry; we pray that we may continue to sow faithfully and multiply.

Every day we have the opportunity to make an impact on someone’s eternity. But we must be SENSITIVE enough to grieve for those we know are headed for hell; it is our prayer today that your heart will be moved to share your faith. Let’s remember today that Christ is news worth sharing.

What if, this coming week, we keep our eyes open to take advantage of those opportunities that arise throughout our day to tell someone about Christ?

We are happy to see how our pastors are carrying out missionary work, they have had worship services, they have gone out to evangelize house by house, they have encouraged the Pastor who is in charge of the Church located in Vallecillo and God has filled them themselves, reminding them that by giving themselves for others is that they also receive. They have seen how 4 beautiful souls pass from death to life, Glory to God! The work continues to run and the power of the Gospel changing lives.
