Dear Chicago Wolves,

On behalf of the foster families we serve, thank you so much for your generous donation of 100 tickets to this past Saturday's Chicago Wolves hockey game! Your generosity gave our families the opportunity to enjoy a fun and memorable night together, and we’ve heard so many wonderful stories about the experience.

We wanted to share a couple of messages from the foster families who attended that truly capture the impact of your kindness.

One foster parent shared:

“I just wanted to reach out and say thank you for this opportunity! One of our littles has Level 3 Autism, so we are never sure how she will handle experiences like this.

This was one of her happiest activities! She was all smiles all night and loves the chaos of the game. It’s something that we will do again with her, knowing how much she loved it.”

Another family shared a fun highlight from their evening:

“First hockey game means straight to the penalty box for these 3 😂

Also, the actual MVP of the night was our section's usher!! She answered a billion questions from my kids, was so patient and funny, and let them hold the ‘Wait for the whistle’ bar, a duty in which K. definitely liked tooooo much 😂”

These stories are exactly why opportunities like this mean so much. From discovering a new favorite activity to laughing together and connecting with the people around them, your generosity created memories that these families will carry with them long after the final whistle.

Our foundation is growing, and we’re looking for passionate, caring individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in foster care.

We’re currently seeking volunteers to help with:

📣 Creating promotional materials — Help us spread the word about our mission and upcoming initiatives.

💰 Fundraising — Bring your ideas, energy, and connections to help us raise funds that directly support children and families.

🎁 Holiday Gift Drive — Help us connect with individuals, businesses, donors, and sponsors who want to make the holidays brighter for children in foster care.

Happy Almost Holidays!

Fostering Child Happiness Foundation is excited to kick off our Holiday Gift Program! For over 10 years, we've supported youth in care and foster families in DuPage and surrounding counties — and this holiday season, we’re doing it again!

Last year, over 250 children received personalized holiday gifts through this program — and we’re ready to bring that same joy to even more kids in care this year!
