GFWC Georgia Vienna Woman's Club We are a local club affiliated with The Georgia Federation of Women's Clubs. There are approximately 60 clubs within the state, and over 1500 members.

Members of the Vienna Woman's Club will join our international organization, the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), to combat domestic and sexual violence on September 26, 2026. This date has been selected as the GFWC International Day of Service (IDOS) where club women from all over the world will join together on one day, with one purpose, and with one voice for lasting change.
Our local Club will be collecting travel-sized toiletry items such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, hand lotion and other personal hygiene items to fill small bags for women living in a domestic violence shelter. Members of the Vienna Woman's Club hosted several members of the Ft. Valley American Legion Auxiliary on Saturday for a tour of the Dooly County Veterans Museum.

The next public open house is scheduled for September 18th from 10 AM to 2 PM. Private tours of the Veterans Museum may be scheduled by contacting a member of the Club at [email protected]

GFWC Georgia President Cathy Jones, a member of Vienna Woman's Club since 1977, traveled recently to the GFWC International Convention in Scotsdale, Arizona. Mrs. Jones was awarded the Charlotte Emerson Brown award at the platinum level for exemplary state leadership. The Vienna Woman's Club was recognized at the Convention for participating in the Legislative Ladder project which encourages members to actively follow bills in support of GFWC resolutions, as well as vote in elections and correspond with legislators.
