Just a few highlights of the May Installation luncheon, with the Davis Center catering. The "no judging” flower show a true delight of some wonderful horticulture and designs. We also welcomed a new member (Audrey). Sally Recinos installed the new officers with great aplomb! We know they will do a great job with our 100th anniversary closing in. Thank you outgoing President, Monica Yvette Anschel you pushed great new incentives that will keep us going forward.

Plant Sale Wrap...another success due to our wonderful customers from near and far (well DMV!) who honor us by supporting us. Thank you all..both members and HS volunteers and the Old Dominion Mum Society and Potomac Hosta Club who participated too. And most of all to plant sale chair leadership of Jayme Aucker Huleatt (and Jennifer Francois) who kept us on track!

Ayr Hill GC has been doing the table arrangements for the last 10 years for the annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon of the Shepherd Center of Northern Virginia. They are always appreciated and those who get to take them home, very happy! This year, VA Delegates- Holly Seibold and Karen Keys-Gammara presented SCNOVA with a State resolution honoring the nonprofit. The Davis Center provided a lovely lunch. Big shoutout to members Nancy Moats and Edda Tallard whose home flora, and fauna, provided the beauty.

Sunday, April 26, the annual Town of Vienna’s, Walk on the Hill, do not miss a delightful Flower Show at Green Hedges School ( 415 Windover Avenue, N.W. Vienna, Virginia 22180 -parking and bathrooms!) @ 2-5 pm. District III part of National Garden Clubs umbrella for National Capital Area Garden Clubs is hosting. Lots of horticulture and designs to enjoy. See you there!

Two Ayr Hill GC Members are current elected officers of NCAGC, and we have one former President, and 2 former District lll Directors, and yes we are proud. Being a part of a 75 year old nationally connected organization (National Garden Club), is very special. Going to the Arboretum several times a year for meetings gets us in touch with the splendor of the US National Arboretum.
