See you this weekend at Vienna Oktoberfest!

We'll be at the Dominion Road Marketplatz and look forward to seeing many of our friends and neighbors at one of the biggest community events of the fall season. Prost!

Five years, one weekly visit, and a queen-sized quilt. 🧵💚

Dorothy just turned 101. For the last five of those years, SCNOVA volunteer Wanda has visited her every week. The result? A beautiful queen-sized quilt they finished together, and one of the longest-running matches in our Friendly Visitor Program.

Dorothy is 101. Wanda has visited weekly for five years. Their quilting friendship shows how the Friendly Visitor program in Northern Virginia connects people.

Oh, what a night! 🎸✨

Thank you to everyone who came out to support, sing, and dance at our Rock and Roll for Golden Souls Annual Fundraiser! The music was fantastic and the love for our community was on full display.

Jesse Garron did not disappoint! 🕺 Thank you, Jesse, for bringing the house down and giving us an evening we'll be talking about for a long time.

Every ticket, bid, and donation helps keep older adults in Northern Virginia connected, independent, and thriving, from free rides to medical appointments to friendly visits and wellness classes. Last year alone, our volunteers provided more than 2,700 rides, and nights like this make that possible.

Huge thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, and guests. You are the heart of our mission. 💚
