Phelps County Retired Teachers Association PCRTA is open to all retired teachers and school personnel in and around Phelps County. You do not have to be retired from Phelps County.

Did you know that even though ‘Phelps County’ is in our name retired school personnel from any school district can join. Perhaps you taught elsewhere and have moved to Phelps County to be closer to your grandchildren. We have several members who have done this! Our next meeting will be in September. The Phelps County Retired Teacher Assn. is pleased to announce the 2026 recipients of $500 scholarships to further educator education. Arielle Sutton works at St James High School. Makenzie McCarter teaches at Truman Elementary in Rolla. Congratulations ladies!

The Phelps County Retired Teacher Assn will meet June 3rd at noon with a carry-in luncheon at Kensington Clubhouse. Scholarships will be given to students continuing their degrees in Education, followed by a brief business meeting. This will be the last meeting of the school year, with meetings resuming in September. Hope to see many retired teachers attend!

The Phelps County Retired Teacher Assn. awards scholarships each June to aspiring teachers. Membership dues have stayed at $10.00 for several years. If you would like to pay your dues you can send your check to PCRTA P O Box 1323 Rolla MO 65402. Thank you! Hope to see you at our monthly meeting at Denny’s on Wednesday May 6th at noon.
