Oath of the President
Widow Sons Motorcycle Riding Association
By the Light of the Two Burning Tapers
I, __________, a Master Mason and a brother of the Widow Sons,
do solemnly and sincerely swear, upon my honor and obligation,
that I will faithfully serve as President of this chapter.
I accept this office not as a position of power,
but as a charge of stewardship,
knowing that leadership is service
and authority is earned through example.
I will always remember that I am first a Mason,
that the Blue Lodge comes before the patch,
and that my conduct shall reflect the principles
of Faith, Hope, and Charity.
I will lead this chapter with fairness, humility, and resolve,
guarding its harmony, strengthening its brotherhood,
and ensuring that our actions bring honor
to Freemasonry, the Widow Sons, and our communities.
I will uphold and enforce the bylaws, standards, and traditions
of the Widow Sons Motorcycle Riding Association,
showing neither favoritism nor neglect,
and tempering discipline with brotherly love.
I will guide the officers of this chapter with wisdom,
listen to the voices of the brethren with respect,
and place the good of the chapter above personal ambition.
I will represent this chapter with dignity
in the Lodge, on the road, and before the world,
mindful that my words and actions
reflect not only upon myself,
but upon every brother who wears this patch.
If discord arises, I will seek peace.
If weakness appears, I will strengthen it.
If error is found, I will correct it with truth and compassion.
When my term is complete,
may it be said that I left this chapter stronger,
more united, and more faithful
than when it was entrusted to my care.
This I swear, freely and without reservation,
by the Light of the Two Burning Tapers—
Brotherhood First, Leadership Always.
So help me God.
