Glaciers are melting faster than predicted. Heatwaves are pushing communities beyond survival thresholds. Floods, droughts, and water stress are displacing millions—especially across the Global South.

At the Healthy Climate Initiative (HCI), we work where the risks are greatest. This year, we:
❄️ Conducted field trials in the Indian Himalayas to explore ways to slow glacier melt
🌍 Trained and empowered climate leaders across India
🌱 Supported community-led ecosystem restoration that strengthens livelihoods while removing CO₂

But the crisis is accelerating—and the window to protect people is narrowing.

As the year ends, I’m asking for your help. Healthy Climate Initiative is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and U.S. donations are tax-deductible.
