We all know the old adage, "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach." Who better to understand this than Mark Daniels and the Famous Idaho Potatoes. They provided the delicious potatoes featured in this incredible dish, which the young men at The PAYH enjoyed. Even better, the fresh dill garnish came straight from our Goodness Garden, grown right here on the campus. Partnerships like these help nourish both body and spirit!

Every great tradition has a beginning, and for the PAYH Bike Ride, that beginning was with Mac Jordan as a partner. Year after year, Mac continues to faithfully invest in the lives of these young men, riding alongside them, encouraging them, and believing in their potential. His dedication, servant leadership, and unwavering commitment have helped shape countless lives, and we are deeply grateful for his continued impact.

Life at The PAYH is about more than routines and responsibilities—it’s also about the special bonds formed with the animals that call the campus home. From Honey (left) and June-bug (right) spending time with the boys, to Sadie roaming the grounds with Mr. Eddie and Garfield keeping watch around campus, these companions bring joy, comfort, and plenty of smiles each day. 🐾❤️

During my college years, a new student came to our school at the beginning of the winter semester and joined our winter track team. As we worked out on the outdoor circular wooden track built above the snow drifts below, we had the opportunity to discuss our track backgrounds. We were shocked when our new teammate told us some of his running times for various races. They were surprisingly Olympic-level times. If true, why had he come to our college? He most certainly should have been at a Division 1 school with a very strong track reputation. It turned out that he was, in fact, lying, and about far more in his life than just track. Read more:

“You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44
