It's All About ComPassion, Community, and Making a Difference!
Today, the Boys & Girls Club of Toombs County had the pleasure of visiting Vidalia Presbyterian Church as part of their ComPassion Project. I was honored to share our organization's growth, mission, and ways the community can continue supporting the youth we serve.
What made today even more special was having two of our Club members, a seventh grader and a third grader, confidently step up to the microphone, introduce themselves, and share their Club experiences! These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do!
Thank you Vidalia Presbyterian Church for the invitation, continued partnership, and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our youth.
Because when compassion meets community, great things happen!

The Boys & Girls Club of Toombs County is honored and grateful to be a recipient of the Altamaha EMC Foundation Operation Round Up Community Grant!
ThIis generous funding will support our upcoming STEM Family Engagement Initiative and Youth Workforce Readiness Program, providing opportunities for our youth to explore STEM education, develop essential life and career skills, and gain exposure to future career pathways.

One night filled with TONS of Halloween fun!👻🎃

Start the night downtown for Downtown Spooktacular, then head back to your neighborhood to keep the Halloween fun going with citywide neighborhood trick-or-treating! Put on those costumes and make a whole night of it!

🍂🍎 Happy Fall, Y’all! 🍎🍂

Fall is here, and our Club kids are having so much fun welcoming the season with hands-on creativity! 🎨
At our J.D. Rabun Lyons, Unit, our members celebrated the season with festive handprint fall paintings. Meanwhile, at our Vidalia Unit, our Pre-K members created colorful painted caramel apples, while our 2nd and 3rd graders put their own creative spin on fall by making homemade tie-dye apples! 🍎🎨
Learning is always a little more fun when you can get your hands messy!

Brushes & Brainpower: Creativity Meets STEM! The students explored creativity, color, design, patterns, and problem-solving through a hands-on painting experience. It gives you the fun of a “Cookies & Canvas” activity while still showing the learning and STEM connection.

The Boys & Girls Club of Toombs County is proud to announce that it has been selected as a recipient of a 2026 Taco Bell Foundation Community Grant, joining nearly 700 nonprofit organizations across the country benefiting from a record $32 million investment in young people.
