Not even the crazy High Desert winds and unexpected rain could stop our dedicated Domestic Violence Advocates from showing up and sharing information about the programs and services we provide!

Between holding down the EZ-Up, chasing materials, and making sure nothing blew away as the storm rolled in, our team proved that community outreach isn't always sunshine and blue skies!

Now THAT'S dedication!

Rain or shine (or sideways High Desert winds!), we're proud to stand together, celebrate our diverse community, and continue connecting individuals and families with resources, support, and hope.

Because when it comes to serving our community, we don't let a little storm blow us away!

BUDGET WIN! I am proud to announce that I have secured $5 million for the Family Assistance Program in San Bernardino County to support a one-time capital allocation to renovate existing homes and build new housing. I will continue to advocate for resources to invest in the youth of San Bernardino County.

Today, the Victor Valley Women's Club generously volunteered their time to help prepare and fill swag bags for our upcoming Walk a Mile in Their Shoes Domestic Violence Awareness Walk.

We are excited to have over 100 registered walkers joining us on October 2 as we come together to raise awareness for domestic violence during National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
