This past week, Moses House was blessed with a donation of supplies for our Client Store from Family Assistance Program.
Tracey Rick and her team were so generous to us and Jamie, our Case Manager, and a Client who, within moments of the donation going out to the floor, were happily shopping! Thank you!

Last Saturday Crown of Faith Director and Founder, Vivian Villanueva hosted a Clothing Giveaway Pop-up at Mustard Seed Christian Gift Store. Community Engagement Manager, Dawn Quigg was blessed and grateful to attend. Crown of Faith is working with area non-profits to assist Women served by each non-profit curated outfits for Job Searches, etc.. Moses House s grateful to partner with Crown of Faith

Hesperia to Host Free Fair Housing Fundamentals Workshop

Hesperia, Calif. — The City of Hesperia, in partnership with the Fair Housing Foundation (FHF), will host a free Fair Housing Fundamentals Workshop on June 16, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. via Microsoft Teams. The workshop will provide residents, housing providers, and community stakeholders with an overview of fair housing laws and the rights and responsibilities of both tenants and landlords. Topics will include disability rights, reasonable accommodations and modifications, housing issues affecting seniors and veterans, harassment, retaliation, eviction, and dispute resolution.

The Fair Housing Foundation encourages community organizations, service providers, and local partners to share this opportunity widely so residents can access important housing information and support services. Through Community Development Block Grant funding, FHF provides fair housing education and outreach to Hesperia residents through workshops, trainings, and community events. The organization also offers mediation, counseling services, and investigation of housing discrimination complaints through its housing assistance hotline at 1-800-446-FAIR (3247).

Registration is now open for the 2026 MMK STEM Robotics Summer Academy, available exclusively for High Desert students ages 8–12. The weeklong academy will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from June 29 through July 3 at Millionaire Mind Kids, located at 15579 Eighth Street in Victorville.

Limited to 50 students, the program will feature hands-on STEAM robotics activities and STEM projects designed to inspire future engineers, creators, and problem solvers. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided to all participants. Families are encouraged to register online as spots are expected to fill quickly.
