These 4 chemicals in your brain regulate happiness! 😊

If any of these are higher or lower than normal, a mental health disorder could be present.

That's why mental health professionals will sometimes recommend
medication in addition to therapy - they help bring these chemical levels back to where they should be!

But there are other things you can do on your own too!

Life is messy. But that shouldn't make it impossible for you to take care of yourself! ⤵️

A lot of factors keep people from seeking healthcare, like working long hours, living too far from a clinic, or having a language barrier.

We don't think those things should keep you from being healthy and happy 😊

→ We offer telehealth appointments. // Ofrecemos citas de telesalud.

→ We can schedule after hours or weekend appointments. // Podemos programar citas fuera de horario o fines de semana.

Anxiety can create a cycle of negative thoughts. 3 steps to break that cycle below 💥

1. Stop and notice what is making you anxious.

2. Ask yourself if it is real, and if it is really something to worry about.

3. If there is nothing to truly worry about, remind yourself of that!
"I am having anxiety right now. It will not last forever. I will be okay."

Those steps require a lot of energy. Be proud of yourself and try some deep breathing to reset your nervous system.

And don't forget... your body and your mind work together. Keeping your body healthy with good food, plenty of water, and good sleep will make it easier to work on your mental health 😊
