It is with sadness that we share the passing of former Victoria Bach Festival board member Mary Sue Koontz Nelson, who passed away Wednesday evening in San Antonio.

Mary Sue was a devoted supporter of the Victoria Bach Festival and especially cherished the musicians who visited our community each year. She graciously hosted many festival artists at her ranch over the years, sharing her warmth, hospitality, and love for the arts. She was truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Services for Mary Sue will be held on:

Wednesday, June 17 at 3:00 PM

As the final notes of Spellbound echoed through the Fine Arts Center Saturday evening, another unforgettable Victoria Bach Festival came to a close.🎶💜

This year’s festival took audiences on a journey through imagination, storytelling, triumph, and fantasy, brought to life by extraordinary musicians from near and far. We are grateful to everyone who performed, volunteered, supported, and attended, helping make this week of music so spectacular. 🙌
