We work with advocates from local charitable, government, and religious organizations to nominate people who are working hard to take significant steps towards self-sufficiency, but who need a vehicle to continue that journey.
Many of our clients work full-time jobs, or even multiple jobs at a time.
Many raise young kids as a single parent.
Some endure countless hours of dialysis or multiple miles of walking to get to and keep their job.
Their willingness to personally sacrifice in order to provide for their families, make ends meet, or serve others around them is often what has inspired their advocate to nominate them.

OnRamp launched in January 2017 in College Station, TX
Branched out to DFW then in January 2024 to the Coastal Bend region which serves 9 counties. (Victoria, DeWitt, Lavaca, Goliad, Calhoun, Jackson, Aransas, Matagorda, and Refugio counties.)
In 2025 OnRamp launched a nation wide program to serve even more hard working individuals.
As of May 2026, OnRamp Coastal Bend has gifted 9 vehicles to individuals in 3 counties.
Overall, OnRamp has gifted just under 300 vehicles to date.

Most of us take reliable transportation for granted. With the turn of a key we can get to work, to the store, or to the doctor with little fuss or worry.
Yet for so many families, reliable transportation is simply out of reach, which severely limits access to jobs, stores, medical care, and social and religious services; and can trap people in a cycle of poverty.

We want to be a part of a solution.
