Promise Pointe provides permanent affordable housing along with a supportive community, practical services, and opportunities that help residents rebuild stability.

This work happens right here in Victoria and serves people from across the Crossroads.

It is a permanent, affordable housing community in Victoria where people who have experienced homelessness can find stability, support, and a place to belong.

For the next six weeks, we are asking our community to help us raise $25,000 for the daily operations and resident services that keep Promise Pointe strong.

We are preparing to launch Promise Pointe’s six-week Keep Hope Home campaign this Tuesday, September 1. Our goal is to raise $25,000 to help support current operations and essential services for our residents.

When Ariana approached Sister Rebecca about a possible project opportunity, she really went above and beyond the expectations.

Miss Victoria Pageant is this weekend and we encourage everyone to learn about the fantastic project Ariana created at Promise Pointe.

"Hi everyone! My name is Ariana Salazar.

One of the things I’m most passionate about is photography, so for my Be Kind Project, I decided to combine my love for photography with giving back to my community. I created Seen Through Kindness, or STK, with the goal of helping people feel seen, valued, and celebrated through professional portraits. I’m so grateful to be partnering with Promise Pointe and getting the opportunity to meet and photograph some of the incredible people who call it home.

This past Saturday, I had the opportunity to visit Promise Pointe and photograph three incredible residents. This is Ray.

Ray shared such a beautiful and passionate story with me, but one thing that stood out most was his heart for giving back to the community. Even when he may not have much himself, he still finds ways to give to others.

Meeting Ray reminded me that kindness isn’t measured by what we have, but by what we choose to give. His story showed me that you don’t need to have everything to make a difference in someone else’s life. Sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness can leave the biggest impact.

I’m so grateful that Seen Through Kindness has given me the opportunity to meet people like Ray and hear the stories that make them who they are. 📸🤍

💙 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖 𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙬𝙤 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝙋𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚! 💙

We were honored to welcome a wonderful group of junior high students and their adult sponsors as part of the Methodist Church's Big House Summer Mission Camp. Big House is an annual youth mission experience focused on serving communities through hands-on volunteer work.

These amazing young people, representing Methodist churches from across the Houston area, truly made a difference. They helped six of our residents by cleaning their homes, tackling yard work, and pressure-washing the deck around our Community Kitchen. Their hard work, kindness, and joyful spirit touched everyone they met.

One grateful resident shared:

The Community Director will oversee daily operations, support residents, coordinate volunteers and community partners, and help ensure our mission of ending homelessness through community continues to thrive.

Since opening in 2018, Promise Pointe has helped dozens of individuals move from homelessness to housing, healing, and hope. Today, our community is home to 22 residents, and we're preparing for future growth and expansion.
