Victoria’s American Heritage Girls Troop TX3125 Earns Prestigious National Awards
American Heritage Girls (AHG) Troop TX3125 is proud to announce that they have been awarded the Diamond Level National Honor Troop Award, a significant achievement that highlights their commitment to faith, service, and fun. The National Honor Troop Award (NHTA), established by AHG, provides a roadmap to a healthy, well-rounded troop. It showcases key components of a successful troop year, including faith, service, fun, troop administration, maintaining important relationships, incorporating the six Program Emphases, troop presentation via the AHG uniform, recognition, and Kingdom Growth.
Furthermore, Troop TX3125 has earned the BELONG Troop Flag Ribbon, awarded to troops that see a 20% growth year-over-year. Troop TX3125 saw a remarkable 43% increase in registered girls in the 2023-2024 year, underscoring the troop's dynamic growth and appeal.
AHG Troop TX3125 was founded at Northside Baptist Church in 2017 and has given Crossroad families a faith-based character development program for girls ages 5 to 18, dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country.
Troop TX3125 invites families with girls ages 5-18 to our Ice Cream Social informational meeting to learn more about American Heritage Girls and our upcoming year on Tuesday, August 20th, 2024, at 6:15 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church. Troop TX3125 is also happy to help other local Christian ministries who may want to start a troop of their own.
ABOUT AMERICAN HERITAGE GIRLS: Founded in 1995 in Cincinnati, Ohio, AHG has grown from ten troops and 100 members to more than 50,000 members across 15 countries and in all 50 states. AHG helps girls to know who they are and whose they are in Christ through service work, badge work, leadership opportunities, and more. With programming that puts an emphasis on faith, service, and fun, girls choose from more than 240 badges, participate in service projects, and are challenged by leadership opportunities and outdoor experiences. Troops are led by adult volunteers who facilitate the AHG Program while encouraging girl leadership. Faith-based organizations like churches and schools charter AHG Troops to achieve their ministry goals for youth.
