We’re raising funds & promoting initiatives to serve SCI & TBI patients and families as well as Scholarships to graduating A-T Seniors. SCI & TBI programs are designed to help close the gap between insurance and out of pocket expenses, also to help with ADA home modifications and DME assistance. Our focus is to assist with families who need to make the necessary home modifications to accommodate t
he needs of their loved one who has sustained a SCI or TBI. This expense is usually not covered by insurance and there are few programs or grants offered to patients or families. Trust me, we know this first hand as Emmy was on a long waiting list for this help. Memorial Scholarships are available to qualified Austwell-Tivoli High School Students who have documented learning or physical disabilities and/or students with a financial need who would otherwise would not have the means to afford tuition/books. Our focus is to offer both a Emmy Saenz Memorial Scholarship as well as an EMT/Paramedic Scholarship. As ESF grows we plan to extend this scholarship opportunity to students interested in ALL Medical and First Responder fields of study in the future.
