We also want to take a moment to express sincere appreciation to the Missoula Horse Council, the City of Missoula, the Big Sky Horse Park staff, and the many volunteers who continue to support and preserve this incredible facility. The staff was incredible and facility absolutely top notch.

Facilities like this are becoming increasingly rare, and Big Sky Horse Park provides something truly special for riders of all ages and disciplines. The park supports not only equestrian sport, but also youth development, education, community connection, and outdoor recreation.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have access to such a beautiful and professionally maintained equestrian space in our region. Thank you to everyone who helps keep this place thriving for current and future generations of ponies, horses, and riders!

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make this show such a success. Events like these truly take a village, and we are so grateful for the time, energy, and support from our incredible horse community.

Special thank you to Deb Anderson, Arwyn Anthony, Kim Swanson, Talitha Hallock, Wendy Livoni, and ALL of our Pony Club families for everything you did behind the scenes and throughout the weekend to help things run smoothly.

From setting jumps, organizing, troubleshooting, cheering on riders, helping with horses, and simply showing up wherever needed — your support made a tremendous difference. Thank you all so much!

What a weekend for Five Valleys Pony Club! ❤️🐴

We are still overwhelmed with gratitude after an incredible horse show filled with amazing riders, wonderful horses and ponies, dedicated volunteers, and a truly supportive horse community. Despite battling rain, wind, cold, and even snow, everyone showed up with smiles, grit, sportsmanship, and incredible attitudes.

To our volunteers: THANK YOU. This show simply would not happen without the countless hours of jump crew, awards, registration, in-gate, out-gate, announcing, food, sponsorships, set-up, tear-down, medical support, and all the unseen jobs that keep a horse show running. We are especially proud that this has become one of the best attended shows in the state while remaining entirely volunteer-run. That is something truly special.

To our competitors and families: thank you for supporting our show and Pony Club mission. Our riders were shining examples of horsemanship, sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, resilience, and kindness all day long. Watching riders encourage one another, help each other through difficult weather, and represent our horse community so well made us incredibly proud.

We were also thrilled to host the show as a USHJA Outreach Competition, continuing to create welcoming and educational opportunities for riders at all levels. Thank you to MHJA and members for your continued support.

A huge thank you as well to Bobbie Tilltson for braving the weather to capture so many special moments through her photography. We are incredibly grateful for the time, talent, and dedication it takes to document these memories for our riders and families — especially while standing out in the rain, wind, and snow with a camera all day! https://www.bobbiethompson.com/

Most of all, thank you for reminding us what Pony Club is all about — education, horsemanship, integrity, service, teamwork, and a love of horses. We could not be more proud of this community. ❤️

Now everyone go thaw out and take a well-earned nap.

Courses for tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

🎉 BIG NEWS for our Montana horse community! 🎉

The Five Valleys Pony Club (FVPC) Horse Show has officially been approved as a USHJA Outreach Competition!! 🐴💙

This is such an exciting step for our riders, families, and growing hunter/jumper community in Montana. USHJA Outreach shows are designed to create welcoming, educational, affordable, and positive competition experiences — especially for riders who are newer to the sport, young riders, green horses, or anyone looking to grow their confidence in the show ring.

What does this mean?
✨ A supportive and encouraging show environment
✨ Recognition through the United States Hunter Jumper Association
✨ Opportunities for riders to earn Outreach points and potentially qualify for Outreach Championships and Nationals in Las Vegas
✨ A continued focus on horsemanship, sportsmanship, safety, and education

We are especially proud to help create more accessible pathways into our sport while still providing quality competition opportunities here in Montana.

If riders would like to be eligible for Outreach Nationals qualifications, they do need a USHJA membership — which is FREE for Outreach riders!

We cannot wait for this weekend’s show and are so excited for the future of hunter/jumper riding in our region. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday for a fun, welcoming, and educational day with horses and our amazing community! ❤️:
