What a weekend for Five Valleys Pony Club! ❤️🐴
We are still overwhelmed with gratitude after an incredible horse show filled with amazing riders, wonderful horses and ponies, dedicated volunteers, and a truly supportive horse community. Despite battling rain, wind, cold, and even snow, everyone showed up with smiles, grit, sportsmanship, and incredible attitudes.
To our volunteers: THANK YOU. This show simply would not happen without the countless hours of jump crew, awards, registration, in-gate, out-gate, announcing, food, sponsorships, set-up, tear-down, medical support, and all the unseen jobs that keep a horse show running. We are especially proud that this has become one of the best attended shows in the state while remaining entirely volunteer-run. That is something truly special.
To our competitors and families: thank you for supporting our show and Pony Club mission. Our riders were shining examples of horsemanship, sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, resilience, and kindness all day long. Watching riders encourage one another, help each other through difficult weather, and represent our horse community so well made us incredibly proud.
We were also thrilled to host the show as a USHJA Outreach Competition, continuing to create welcoming and educational opportunities for riders at all levels. Thank you to MHJA and members for your continued support.
A huge thank you as well to Bobbie Tilltson for braving the weather to capture so many special moments through her photography. We are incredibly grateful for the time, talent, and dedication it takes to document these memories for our riders and families — especially while standing out in the rain, wind, and snow with a camera all day! https://www.bobbiethompson.com/
Most of all, thank you for reminding us what Pony Club is all about — education, horsemanship, integrity, service, teamwork, and a love of horses. We could not be more proud of this community. ❤️
Now everyone go thaw out and take a well-earned nap.
