Victor-Farmington Volunteer Ambulance

Victor-Farmington Volunteer Ambulance The Official page of the Victor-Farmington Ambulance! In 1970, Victor Farmington Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Inc.

was formed to serve a critical function in the preservation of life for the sick or injured. Since then, we've fulfilled this duty by providing a variety of services to best Care for our Community. The past four decades have had a few recurring themes at Victor-Farmington Volunteer Ambulance:

• Growth
• Use of the latest technology
• A service provided with-out financial burden to the residents

Our once small towns have grown tremendously in the way of new residents, new commercial/retail/shopping locations, entertainment, and business. Today, our towns rank as the largest and second largest in Ontario County. As our community continues to grow, we commit to keep pace with the growing needs for our services. We provide these services for over 26,000 residences amidst a 43% population growth in Victor, while Farmington is expecting 1,000 additional homes, generating growth beyond the 11% growth experienced this past decade. For over 40 years we've improved our presence in the community as a trusted service provider, transforming from a simple transporter of the sick and injured to area hospitals to an agency that provides emergency medical care meeting pre-hospital industry standards. Our crews are stationed at our base to reduce emergency response time. These crews provide both Basic Life Support (BLS) services as well as Advanced Life Support (ALS) services. Our personnel can perform heart monitoring and can administer life saving medications on the way to the hospital, often saving and preventing further threats to life during the transport time to hospitals. Our agency is committed to providing the highest quality patient care with "hometown compassion". Browse this site and see what Victor Farmington Ambulance has to offer. Perhaps one-day soon you'll utilize our services or even become a member of our organization, helping our efforts to Care for the Community.

Today we had the privilege of hosting Ryan Greenberg, the State EMS Director/Chief.

It was a great opportunity to connect, share our experiences, discuss the future of EMS and highlight the incredible work being done every day by our team of EMS professionals.

We appreciate Director Greenberg taking the time to visit, listen and engage with our organization. Conversations and partnerships like these help strengthen the future of emergency medical services and the communities we proudly serve.

For the past three years, Victor Farmington Ambulance has proudly partnered with Victor Central Schools to provide students with meaningful opportunities to explore careers in healthcare and emergency medical services. Aarav becomes our fourth intern through this successful partnership.

Investing in the next generation of healthcare professionals is something we take great pride in. Through hands-on experiences and mentorship, we hope to help students like Aarav gain valuable insight into the field of medicine. While at the same time developing skills that will serve them well in the future.

Please join us in welcoming Aarav Gupta to Victor Farmington Ambulance. We look forward to supporting his educational journey.

After a recent Veterans Dinner event, EMT Schultz spent time with several children and their families, giving them a firsthand look inside one of our ambulances. The children had the opportunity to explore the vehicle, learn about some of the equipment carried onboard and meet an EMT in a fun and welcoming environment.

These interactions are an important part of what we do. Helping build relationships within our community while providing a positive and educational experience for future generations. Thank you to EMT Schultz for taking the time to engage with community members and for being a great ambassador for Victor Farmington Ambulance. Town of Victor

Recently at the Ontario County Safety Council banquet three of our providers were awarded the Dr. Ben Lankheet Heart Starter Award for their heroic actions last October. James went into cardiac arrest while at work. Due to the quick work administering lifesaving care rendered by our crews in partnership with the Ontario County Sheriff & the Victor Fire Department James is home today living a normal life. Pictured below are the first responders who rendered care that day with James.
