Bela Animal Legal Defense and Rescue The First Dedicated American Bison Sanctuary!! Founded by Bela Legal Defense and Rescue

It’s official Montana officials investigated my bison rescue and determined it is legitimate…and it’s the first true bison sanctuary in the state and probably USA. The American Bison Sanctuary has been established and running for 10 years. Here’s a clip after my dwarf Bison, Sabrina, made a big scene about 50 yards away so everybody ran over there to see if she was OK and then she ran over to the brand new grass hay because she usually can’t get in there when I first drop it because she’s so small, but she’s smart. lol American Bison Sanctuary

Sir William, is Allie’s first son. Only 3 and half years old, he’s a gorgeous man child, already bigger than his father.

The world lost one of its best humans today and we all are deeply saddened by this loss.

Dr. Jane Goodall devoted her long life to giving a voice to animals who are threatened or suffering. Known most for her work with chimpanzees, she lent her significant stature to advocating for all types of animals in need.

Indeed, Goodall credited her first dog Rusty as being the initial gateway for her empathetic concern which led to her barrier-breaking career.

The best we can do to honor her memory is to work even harder in our own advocacy on behalf of all animals who just lost their biggest champion.

Ractopamine, a dangerous drug used to rapidly grow muscle in cows, pigs and turkeys, is currently BANNED in 160 countries including China and all countries in the European Union.

Even though it causes animals’ bodies to suffer tremors, lesions, and deterioration, elevates consumers’ heart rates, and harms the environment — the FDA has approved ractopamine for use and has been estimated in 60-80 percent of all pigs raised for food in the U.S.

We'e joined Center for Biological Diversity, Center for Food Safety, and Food Animal Concerns Trust in filling a lawsuit urging the FDA to reduce allowable ractopamine levels — or withdraw the drug’s approval all together.

Stay tuned for a way to take action and help us get this dangerous drug banned!
